I can wait until the pool opens. I was wondering how big of a petition would it take to change the Lap hour from 10-11 to 11-12? I'm very interested in doing this but like many my lunch doesn't start until 11 and sometimes later than that.

Thanks for your comments. I will pass on your suggestion to the manager of the facility which is Outdoor Recreation.

Our family is so thankful for the military honor bestowed to our daughter, Lt. Dawn Logan, USAF, in Raton, NM, on April 10, 2010. The Honor Gaurds volunteered their services in honor of Lt. Logan, and we are so grateful to them for a flawless and unforgettable presentation.

I think the site is easy to navigate and pleasing to the eye. I think it could benefit from more color, and I'd like to see the force support squadron's mission on the home page!

I rec'd this site from an email signature address so thought I would check it out. I have to say I am quite impressed at how far Cannon has come along in the last 10 years since my departure. Your link is LOADED with information!
My only question is: Does the wing send out MASS emails to everyone on base giving the SAME information your link does? Or has your link eliminated the duplicity in effort?
LOVE THE SITE! It ROCKS!!!!

Hi Elizabeth in OK,
Thanks so much for your comments, we love to keep everybody in the know. My web guru keeps on top of all the info. She really appreciates your comments too. I do send out mass emails to remind everyone about our upcoming events and last minute reminders. Of course we still have hard copies of our magazine too that help and we definately push the web of course. Thanks again.

Not sure if this is the correct area to place this suggestion, but I believe you all organize the field trips and such for families at the base. I took my baby girl out to Muleshoe today to 'Tickled Paint' and it seems like the perfect place for a close field trip to take an organized group. They offer pottery, glass fusing and mosaics. I was incredibly impressed with the owner and thought I'd pass this on as a trip to take either adults or kids. I found them online: http://www.tickledpaint.com/main.php

Thanks so much for your comments and discovering such a neat place. This is a great place to post your comments and we will be sure that our ITT folks know about your adventure and just watch for upcoming trips to see if Muleshoe is one. Have a great day. :grin

Coming to Cannon as a contractor. Your site would be much more useful if you would put the fees for bowling, golf/green fees, driving range fees, etc. on each page. Also maybe membership fees for clubs, etc. Also had a heck of a time trying to find the "services" link on the Cannon AFB. mil, main page. Most AFB websites have a link on the main page that says "services" Had to do a websearch looking for "lodging."

Hi Joe, Thanks for your comments,
we are no longer called Services but Force Support Squadron due to our merger in January with MSS. You can find our link on the Cannon AFB. mil on the right sidebar under publications called 27 FSS which will take you to our website. Also, if you click on SOF link it will take you to our link where our website is located under "At Your Service" which is the name of our magazine. You can find the golf fees on the top of the Whispering Winds link 2009 tournament schedule and fees. Our lodging link is called "Lodging Information" which is also found on the left sidebar (scroll down), we are going to move it under main menu so it can be found faster. The club fees will now be posted on The Landing Collocated Club page and the Drop Zone page which is the club annex. Thanks for your suggestions.

Where are the movie times on this site? If it were a little more accessable to see, it might get a litte more patronage...especially since noone answers the phones on the weekend. I also suggest that the weekend recording is changed from the 27 FW to the 27 SOW.
Admin Comment Admin Comment:
AAFES is linked under our link tab at the top. You will find the movie times etc. for AAFES there. AAFES is its own entity and does not fall under FSS so that is why there is just a link which is provided as a courtesy on our webpage. Thanks for your comments and for visiting our site.
