The Auto Skills center at Cannon is the auto mechanic's dream with six bays and an abundance of tools.
The Skills Development Program is directed toward the recreation, vocational and occasional needs of authorized users to provide sufficient knowledge to pursue constructive and creative hobbies and increase competence in fine arts, crafts, and industrial arts.
Instruction should stimulate new interest and provide customers with sufficient basic skills and knowledge to participate with minimum supervision and to work safely in a hobby activity. The program is generally designed to be self-supporting from a combination of appropriated and nonappropriated funds.
