Effective 8 Feb 10 the Whispering Winds snack bar will be closed on the weekends due to lack of patronage. Weekend service will resume at the start of the regular golf season in April.
Cannon's sporty 18-hole golf course, Whispering Winds, offers small, elevated greens. The course measures 6,032 yards, par 70 (course rating 67.6) from the regular men's tee. From regular women's tees the course measures 4,954 yards, par 70 (course rating 64.8).
Pro shop services include a driving range, putting and chipping greens, electric carts, lockers and club storage, as well as equipment and accessory sales. The golf course clubhouse features a snack bar and a lounge.
Due to the beautiful New Mexico climate, golf is available almost year round. A full tournament schedule is available at the clubhouse. Call for more information.
Retiree Wednesdays -Golfers with a retired military ID card will recieve $2 off daily gree fees and 50% off electric carts on Wednesdays.
Senior Days - Senior golfers 50 years and older will receive $2 off daily green fees and 50% electric carts. Holidays excluded.
Senior Golf League- April 1-October 28, The senior golf league will play every Tuesday morning with a tournament being held once a month. Players must be 55 years or older to participate.
